Back in 2014 a group of volunteers opened the door to a disused scout hut.  12 months later and a lot of hard work the hall relaunched as the Rookery View Hall we know and love today!
You may now know but the hall is actually owned by Castle Point Council and we are in the fortunate position that we have been offered the opportunity to purchase the hall from the Council for £36,000.  The charity has already saved up £10,000 and we hope that the local community will help us raise the rest so that we can get the papers signed and safeguard the future of the hall for all future generations!
If you would consider giving a little (or a lot) any donation will be very much welcomed and we hope that together we can close the rented chapter of our story and open a new chapter of property ownership and all the protection and security that offers!
You can find a link to make a donation by Paypal above.  You can give any amount you wish by credit or debit card, or by Paypal funds.
If you are looking to give a larger sum and would like us to benefit from gift aid, then please give us an email or call on involvedprojects@hotmail.com  or 07882 789928 and our volunteers will arrange a gift aid form for you and bank details so you can pay directly into our account by cheque or bank transfer.
Thank you all for your help and support and we hope that when we reopen Rookery View Hall after Covid19 we will reopen as owners!
Kindest regards
Hayley and the team at Rookery View Hall
